I don't use Windows Libraries enough for their inclusion or exclusion to be a make or break part of my decision regarding consideration of purchasing XYplorer next Monday. You are correct in pointing out that XYplorer is not the only alternative to WE out there. However, each upgrade for Xyplorer has added true functionality to the program, so for me the lifetime license is worth it. I am always leery of "lifetime" licenses for various reasons. Just customizing it and exploring options will keep you busy and give you an idea of the wealth of functionality that this program has.
This program is definitely worth trying out, and give yourself time to really explore it. There are soooo many functions that are so useful, like the batch renaming, that I really did not make much use of before I started using Xyplorer. I use the "favorites" folders/files functions all the time. It is great for when I am constantly moving files around. My primary workspace has two panes with two to three tabs in each pane, and I go back and forth, depending on what I am working on. I love the customizability, the small footprint, speed (esp search), and the list goes on. There are quite a few functions that Xyplorer is my go-to program for. Tazzie I can't say enough good about this program!!! My all-time favorite file manager is Directory Opus, but Xyplorer runs a very very close second, which says a lot for it.
